Kirin N. Palmer, MD

Dr. Palmer joined Sunset Pediatrics in August 2016. Her dedication and professionalism have earned her a reputation as being a highly experienced, caring, thorough and accessible physician. She had been busy delivering acute care to the children on the west side of greater Portland for over two years at Randall Children’s Urgent Care.

In Philadelphia, Dr. Palmer pursued her doctorate in Medical Studies at Drexel University College of Medicine. Having completed her general medical training and being fluent in French and Spanish, she transferred to south Florida for Pediatric Training in Miami. Dr. Palmer went on to perfect her skills and exposure by working as a Hospitalist in Emergency Pediatric Care, and in Outpatient Peds for 9 years prior to her arrival in her now beloved Oregon.

Dr. Palmer truly has a passion for being a pediatrician. She is excited in establishing a practice here, as living in the Pacific Northwest has been a lifelong dream of hers and her family’s.

She is originally from Oahu, Hawaii, and appreciates the fact that many people here love Hawaii as much as she loves Portland. She is the meaning of “Aloha”.
