Tara Harrington, PT, DPT

Tara is originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and moved to the Portland area in January 2020. She earned her Bachelor's of Science from Louisiana State University while majoring in Kinesiology with a focus in human movement science and a minor in psychology. Tara went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in Austin, TX. Tara has experience working with a wide range of patients including athletes, orthopedic patients, chronic pain patients, and patients with neuromuscular disorders. Tara is certified in Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) therapy and Barbell Method Rehab which are both tools to improve strength and reduce injury in patients and athletes alike. Tara believes in the importance of consistent strengthening and exercise throughout life to maximize health, avoid injury, falls, and pain. In her spare time Tara enjoys watching football and basketball, weight lifting in the gym, trail running, or hiking with her dog, Zeus.
