Terrence E. Hess, DPM

Doctor Hess is board certified in foot and ankle surgery. He has been practicing Podiatric Medicine in the Northwest since 1995. He graduated from California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco in 1992 with honors. He completed his residency training at Lakewood Regional Medical Center and at Kaiser Foundation Hospital in Portland Oregon where he specialized in foot and ankle surgery. He finished his formal training with a fellowship at Harborview Medical Center. In 2002, he established Foot & Ankle Surgical Associates. His private practice has grown over the years now with 4 offices in Tumwater, Centralia, Yelm & Tacoma Washington and has 7 Podiatric Physicians working with him. He is currently interested in expanding his practice and helping other Podiatrists to weather the upcoming healthcare transitions. Throughout his practice years, he has given lectures to other physicians, nursing groups and patients to help improve the education of foot and ankle pathologies and treatment options. In addition, he has traveled several times to Central America on mission trips to perform surgery in El Salvador and Nicaragua. Dr. Hess is also an alumni of the University of Washington where he received a degree in Pharmacy. He worked in pharmacy for 3 years before he went back to school to become a Podiatrist. He was born in the Northwest and is married to an amazing woman, Sara, together they have 2 children Logan and Devon.
