Hank H. Lai, MD

Dr. Hank Lai is a board-certified Psychiatrist with broad experience treating individuals struggling with mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, and substance use issues. He earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College and completed his Psychiatry residency at UC Irvine Medical Center. Throughout his career, Dr. Hank Lai has practiced in diverse clinical settings including inpatient hospitals, outpatient clinics, and intensive treatment programs and has served in leadership roles such as Medical Director of an Intensive Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Program. He also has expertise in advanced therapies for treatment resistant depression, including IV and IM ketamine, esketamine nasal spray, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS). Dr. Hank Lai is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, which enables him to effectively communicate with a wider range of patients.
