About Melvin M. Wahl
Dr. Wahl completed his medical school training at the University of Washington in Seattle. Shortly thereafter, he began orthopedic surgeon residency at Harborview Medical Center in University Hospital, Seattle, WA. He came to the Tri-Cities in 1996, having undergone dual fellowship in spinal injection and spinal surgery therapy. His specific interests include artificial disc replacement as well as minimally invasive spine surgery.

Dr Wahl analyzed ny specific back problem, explained clearly the surgery he recommends and honestly spelled out what I need to do to lower my A1c from 8.9 to the low 7s to reduce risk of infection from a surgery.
