I feel that Dr. Meredith Heick has been the best, most thorough, collegial physician I've ever been lucky enough to be a patient of. I have recommended her repeatedly, and I will miss her compassion, friendliness, availability, upbeat personality and great medical wisdom, knowing she is soon retiring. I wish her the best in her upcoming years. She's a doctor to imitate and learn from.

Dr. Heick has been amazing throughout my years of visits to her. Learning of her planned retirement was distressing but I wish her the best, she deserves it.

Dr. constantly types what I say. I'd rather talk to her face to face. Usually have to wait 45 MIN OR MORE to be seen while sitting in exam room. Sometimes have to wait 2 wks. or more to hear how the MRI or tests turned out.

Waited about 2 hours to see provider, she was rushed and I didn't get to address concerns with her.

I feel Dr. Heick is a very good doctor but she talks too fast - It's hard to get a word in edgewise. It seems she has so many patients she needs to be "running" all the time. Her support team is great - Especially [...]

I waited over on hour to see my provider. The nurse knew my wait would be a while so she sent me to the lab. I then proceeded to wait over 25 minutes there for my blood draw. when I came back up to the 7th floor I still had to wait to be seen. After my visit I came out to the waiting room and it was so late (6pm) there was no one at the desk to validate my parking or make my next appointment. I asked the front desk personnel if I could get my parking validated and they said no, only after my appt. ( I knew that everyone would be gone when my appointment was finished and I was correct)

I did have to wait longer than 15 min but the reason was explained to me and when I've needed extra time I've gotten it.

She didn't know anything about my medical history and kept asking me about dates that I was hospitalized and for how long. I did not have records with me.she also would ask me the same things numerous times.she seemed to be all over the place.when my friend and I left there, we both agreed she came across as scatterbrained.

I would like to comment on the lab in the basement of Dr. Heicks building. I have noticed substantional difference in a positive way! The waiting room was cleaner and more professional looking. I watched the staff sanitize their hands in between patients and after removing gloves.

Dr. Heick has been the absolute best provider for the last ten years...she started being my doctor when I was diagnosed with RA when I was nine and she has been my favorite of my doctor team since! My [...] insurance this year has limited who I can see for exams and now I cannot see Dr. Heick [...]. This has broken my heart because she has been an incredibly invested and understanding doctor. She asks about my family and my school and she remembers little details about my life, more so than any other doctor I've had! I will miss her and the wonderful experiences that I've had with Providence in general over the years!!
