He didn't seem to be very up-to-date on my medical condition.

I am 94 and on several medications. When questioned about my being on a certain medication my daughter tried to explain why I am on medications that contradict each other. The provider actually cut my daughter off by raising his hand and said "I know why she is on it". He was pompous & arrogant. [...] I refuse to go back to this guy (who isn't even a dr.) and will either see Dr. [...] or ask for another associate. This was a wasted appointment as far as I'm concerned.

While he was not all "warm and fuzzy", he was very knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. I never felt rushed or insignificant.

My Cardiologist is Dr. [...]. I like him and have always received very good care from him. I saw Gabriel Owens, his PC-C. I'm sure that the exam and knowledge of my health situation were good. but I didn't care for his manner. I was taking when he was listening to my heart with his stethoscope, which was frustrating to him, but I thought he could have dealt with the situation more diplomaticlly.

He wanted me to pick a blood thinner without information on different blood thinners like everyone would know that information. I kept asking questions until I got the information I needed.

[...] Gabriel Owens is a poor representation of Providence.

While this was a PA with a preop visit prior to orthopedic surgery, he seemed to be overly cautious about my cardiac condition. While this was good, I did not feel that he made any real decisions and seemed to be too cautious to do anything on his own. I am most impressed with the normal cardiologist [...] but this PA whilw I am sure is knowledgeable seemed to not be the "decision maker".

The main team has been very good. The visit with Owens not so satisfying. He seemed to be extra officias and in a hurry. Others we seen [...] were most helpful. [...]

Difficult to get a an appt. with Dr. [...] ... even three months out. Gabe was fine for this appt., but even he was a three month wait to see him!

There was a special medication that I need to take for my recent condition, which I needed help obtaining. The provider said his nurse would help me complete the application to the drug company so I could obtain it free. It wasn't his fault, but the nurse was of no help and was as ignorant of how to fill out the application as I was. Result - in three weeks I will have no more of the medication and although it is a serious need it wasn't of sufficient importance for his office to make sure I would have that medication or something equivalent to cover the time I needed it.

I had not previously seen this provider, yet he recommended changing medication dosing on a medication he did not order. I was only seeing him because there had been a scheduling error in my post-hospital visit. I was NOT comfortable with him changing a medication that my cardiologist ordered and he had never seen me before.

This was the first time I met Mr. Owens. He was polite, and seemed to be a bit rushed. I am not well acquainted with his "this is what we're going to do approach, and I felt there was no room or time for my questions. Of course,it was very soon after my hospital stay, and it took me longer to process new info than it usually does. I think our personalities were not a good match.

I have had the same dr. for 17 yrs. and have never been treated in this manner. Twice I have had to see another dr. and/or a PA and am not impressed with your selection of doctors.

I asked if record of my visit would be forwarded to my gp and I was told they were too busy for that, later another tech came in and I was going to ask her and before I good she volunteered that everything we did would be forwarded to my gp

I was very pleased with this provider. He got it set up to shock my heart so I didn't have to return at a later date. Very happy with this provider and the sacred heart staff.

was there for a pre- op ok from my cardiologist for shoulder surgery. had never met this PA. He asked if I had any concerns, but when I told him I did, he more or less said I should talk to my cardiologist some other time.

I needed an echocardiogram before I could proceed with a surgical procedure and Gabriel Owens went out of his way to set it up the same day, so I wouldn't have to go home to Colville, and make another trip to Spokane, possibly delaying surgery. I really appreciate how well he responded to my needs.

Said my BMI was 27 - needed to lose 9 lbs - I was "too close to BMI of 30 WHICH is obese." I wear a size 10. Requested refill on Nitro. He gave me 4 bottles - 100 pills [...]. The pharmacist laughed. Had never seen a prescription of that quantity.

The provider, Gabe Owens, seemed detached, and I got the impression when he entered the room that he would rather not be there. When I asked if I should increase dosage of a medication when I had an episode of heart palpitations, his response was, "Do you think you should?" I said, "What to you think?" I don't know so I asked to make sure I was not over dosing on the medication. Not the response that I went to see him for. I left without a clear understanding of what I should do if the episodes should recur.
