Richard Levy, M.D., FAAP, has been in private pediatric practice in Santa Monica since 1973. He is a certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. His early studies were done at the University of Rochester in New York State. There he majored in English as well as premed studies. Dr. Levy later attended Medical School at State University of New York – Downstate in Brooklyn and completed two years of pediatric residency at New York Medical College. His last year of pediatrics was at Tufts New England Medical in Boston. Dr. Levy also served in the United States Air Force between 1971 and 1973, just before moving to California. He is married to Vivian, a third grade teacher, has a step-daughter and two wonderful grandchildren. He is particularly interested in behavioral problems of children and reading biographies.
