I was first drawn to medicine because of the science, the ability to always keep learning, and the great opportunity to make a difference in patient’s lives. I was particularly drawn to Women’s Health as I have a strong passion for women empowerment and am honored to have the ability to help women with all of their medical concerns. It is my sincere goal to be the provider and safe space where women feel they can come to with any concern.
In my practice I emphasize compassion and empathy. I feel it is important to let patients know I truly want to hear their concerns and work with them to find a solution. I believe my most important role as a provider is my responsibility to the patient. Specifically, to help guide patients through the changes of a women's health through pregnancy, breast feeding, and aging while working with the patient to make treatment plans for any concerns they may have. I love that as a medical provider I able to make a difference in patient lives even through small acts of compassion, empathy, truly listening to patient concerns.
My philosophy of care as a physician assistant is to work with my team to ensure the patient is always at the center of care. I promise to always keep asking questions, put the patient first, and listen to the concerns my patients have. I am very excited to meet you!
I enjoy almost anything outdoors including hiking, running, biking, and camping. I am an avid reader and push myself to try to learn something new every day. I grew up as an equestrian and though I don't currently ride horses frequently, I would love to get back to this passion in my future.
