Cardiac surgery is a very important undertaking for any patient, and I believe it is important to take the time to make sure that both the patient and their families are comfortable with the plans for their surgery, with our facility and with myself. I have been performing cardiac surgery for 25+ years and have performed more than 4,000 operations. I have always believed it is important to consider the needs of each individual patient and tailor the operation and their care to meet those needs.
