J. Courtney Clyde has practiced general surgery in the Spokane area since 1990 and is the past President of the Spokane County Medical Society. He graduated from the University of Utah Medical School and completed his surgery training at the University of Iowa.
Dr. Clyde has extensive training in image-guided (Ultrasound and Stereotactic) biopsies of the breast and breast cancer treatment. He is experienced in the placement of devices for partial breast irradiation. One of his special interests is the placement of IV access devices (chest ports, arm ports and tunneled catheters).
Dr. Clyde is an active staff member at Sacred Heart Medical Center, Valley Hospital and Medical Center, Deaconess Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital. Dr. Clyde is available to see patients at our Cataldo, Valley and North offices. He provides Acute Trauma Care, Critical Care and Acute Surgical Care at Sacred Heart, the only Level II Trauma center in Eastern Washington.
