Dr. Anna Beitin always knew she wanted to work with people. Combined with her interests in science and physiology, practicing medicine was a perfect fit. She enjoys the constant education that is required in her job, learning about medicine as well as learning about her patients.
In her practice, Dr. Beitin emphasizes shared decision making to ensure that her patients feel they have ownership over their health care decisions. She also wants her patients to feel comfortable in working together with her as their partner in health. "I believe that creating a safe place for patients to feel like they can talk about what is on their minds and not feel judged is critical to providing good quality care," she says.
Dr. Beitin earned her undergraduate degree from Villanova University. She received her medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo and completed her internship and residency at Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York.
Born and raised in New York, Dr. Beitin enjoys traveling and being outdoors.
