Physician assistant, Kevin Brooks, started out as an advocate and therapist for pediatric patients in the hospital setting. Over time, he became more interested in medicine and eventually decided to make the transition to medical provider so he could have the greatest positive impact on the lives and health of those in his care. In his practice, he emphasizes compassion, understanding and education in regards to his patients' health and medical conditions. He believes his most important role as a provider is to be a good listener. "My focus is on making connections with my patients," he says. "As much as possible, I try to treat the whole patient, not simply the disease." Kevin earned his Master of Medical Science from Arcadia University in Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate degree in psychology at Carnegie Mellon University.
