Dr. Nathan Anderson came to medicine with a diverse background of experiences. He was born in Portland, OR, but grew up primarily in Austin, TX. After attending Bennington College in Vermont, where he earned a dual-degree in Molecular Biology and Modern Dance, he spent ten years working in research labs around the country. He earned his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University, where he developed a passion for providing medical care that takes each individual’s context into consideration. He firmly believes that his primary job as a physician is to help his patients match their behaviors to their goals and beliefs. He enjoys working with all kinds of people and is particularly interested in LGBTQ+ health. When not at work, Dr. Anderson enjoys many different kinds of exercise, eating delicious food, and spending as much time as possible with his diverse community of friends and family.
