Do you feel stuck? Stressed Out? Anxious or depressed? Are you confused about a relationship? Struggling with mental health and substance use problems? Are you repeating the same destructive behavior you promised yourself that you would stop? You don’t have to suffer and there is hope. Psychotherapy can help you uncover the reasons and assist you in creating a healthier, more productive and enjoying life. I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) working in an integrated primary care clinic here at Providence St. Joseph’s. Additionally, I am part of the Integrated Medication Treatment that uses FDA-approved medications, in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies, to provide a “whole person” approach to the treatment of substance use disorders. I am skilled psychotherapist with 20 years of experience in the fields of mental health and substance abuse treatment. My approach to psychotherapy is integrative utilizing several therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing/Enhancement, Psychodynamic, Interpersonal, and Person Centered therapy primarily for adults from the ages of 18 and up. Treatment happens on an outpatient basis through individual, group, couples and family therapy sessions.
