Steven Q. Read, PA-C

I chose to be a medical provider because it was the intersection of my intrigue with human physiology and helping people tackle their challenges. I've been working in cardiology since my medical career began and I've always maintained a fascination with cardiac medicine. I worked as a cardiology tech for five years during my undergrad at Utah Valley University, then went to the University of Utah for PA school. Providing compassionate, honest, and evidence-based medical care is important to me. I also believe kindness goes a long way in establishing trust and confidence with my patients. I was born and raised in Oregon and have been looking forward to coming back since I left. I love running, hiking, and watching sports. Most of my time, outside of praticing medicine, is spent with my wife and three kids.
