About Ray E. Smucker
Dr. Ray Smucker works to provide good counsel when medical decisions are needed and encourages preventive care in his practice. "My philosophy of care is to help patients become good managers of their own health care," he says.
Dr. Smucker chose to become a physician because he enjoys both science and working with people. He enjoys meeting new patients and forming lasting relationships with them over time.
After earning his medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Dr. Smucker completed his internship and residency at Phoenix Baptist Hospital in Arizona.
Outside of the office, he enjoys skiing and University of Oregon Duck football. Dr. Smucker is actively involved in his church and does volunteer work with The Founders Clinic in Oregon City.
