Dr. Kuo listened to my concerns and ordered tests to make a thorough search into the causes and even for follow up to a previous visit. It is good to have a doctor who cares about me as an individual.

Dr. Kuo is knowledgeable, but communication skills could be worked on. One suggestion would be to ask the patient their goals for the visit or their health instead of assuming. Also, don't say things like "oh this could be taken care of with a primary care office". There's a reason someone Is seeking a specialist, listen and find out.Also, don't blame the patient for any missing information. Apologize on behalf of your office for cancelling the original appointment on the patient last minute and not asking for pertinent info well ahead of time, and just ask for the information.

The best experience I can say is that Dr. Michael Kuo informed me that the letter from the St. Jude radiologist on my thyroid was read wrong from the radiologist who said It had grown. My nodule shrunk not grew and Dr. Michael Kuo shared that with me based on the ultra sound results. I was not happy with the Radiologist, but happy with Dr. Kuo.
