Professional Statement
Since joining the House Clinic, Dr. Lekovic has built a diverse clinical practice treating both brain and skull base tumors including acoustic neuroma and meningioma, as well as other skull base disorders such as trigeminal neuralgia and skull base encephalocele. As a neurosurgeon at the House Clinic, his practice is uniquely focused on the multi-disciplinary management of these complex disorders, incorporating principles and practices of head and neck surgery, radiation oncology, and vascular/ endovascular surgery. As a fellowship trained cerebrovascular surgeon, Dr. Lekovic also routinely treats vascular disorders of the central nervous system, including cerebral aneurysms, vascular malformations, and cerebro-vascular occlusive disease. His spine practice is limited primarily to spine tumors and disorders of the craniovertebral junction. Naturally, not every patient needs surgery, and Dr. Lekovic is one of few neurosurgeons performing both GammaKnife and CyberKnife radiosurgery, recommending the optimal technology for each patient's individual needs.
