I grew up in a medical family, but what drove me to pursue a career in medicine and pediatric endocrinology was my personal experience with type 1 diabetes. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 14 and I am dedicated to educating patients and families about how to be healthy and live life to the fullest, whether they have diabetes or any other endocrine disorder. Having a positive attitude and adequate medical support are keys to success and I am here to help my patients succeed in achieving a healthy body and a healthy mindset. Carrie Graves, MD is a board-certified pediatric physician, specializing in endocrinology.
