In his practice, David Counts believes his most important role as a physician assistant is to listen to patients and treat each one uniquely. He emphasizes teamwork and invites patients to help develop personal preventive or health treatment plans. "I enjoy seeing patients take control of their health and make positive changes in their lives," he says. "I like the variety that comes with family medicine and addressing patient needs while building a trusting relationship."
David earned his Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
David is a Pacific Northwest native, born in Walla Walla, Washington. Outside of work he enjoys playing boardgames, collecting pressed souvenir pennies, and spending time with his wife and young daughter.
