About Carol M. Suzuki
“I believe that when we are able to form a connection with our patients while also addressing their physical needs, we are better able to care for them and improve their experiences,” says Carol Suzuki, M.D. “I try my best to provide non-judgmental, emotionally connected care to every patient I encounter, to make them feel safe, heard and cared for. I am truly grateful to be able to have a career in which I am able to impact individuals in a way that feels meaningful and important to me while doing something that is both fun and rewarding.”
Dr. Suzuki has been in Portland since completing her residency at OHSU in 2000 at which time she became very connected to the Northwest and decided to stay in Portland. She worked for 15 years in private practice at Good Samaritan hospital doing both obstetrics and gynecology before joining Providence. She has two children and a loving mutt named Beatrice. They have lived in Northeast Portland since 2004. Dr. Suzuki enjoys rock climbing, hiking, biking, and farmer's markets.
