A native of New Jersey, Dr. Ehrich graduated summa cum laude from Tufts University in Massachusetts. He received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, a national medical honor society. He did his internal medicine internship and residency at Bellevue/ New York University Medical Center, where he served as Executive Chief Resident. Dr. Ehrich came to Los Angeles in 1984 and completed his cardiology Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 1987. He has been in private practice in the San Fernando Valley since then, specializing in interventional and consultative cardiology. He performs coronary angioplasty and stent insertion, and pacemaker implantation on a regular basis. In addition, Dr. Ehrich is an attending physician at Providence Tarzana Medical Center, where he is Chair of the Division of Cardiology.

Dr. Ehrich is a member of the American College of Cardiology and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases. He has a strong interest in medical ethics and is a member of the Bioethics Committee at Providence Tarzana Medical Center.
