About C.C. Ma
Dr. Ma is a fellowship trained adult cardiothoracic anesthesiologist at Sacred Heart and Holy Family. After graduating from medical school at the University of Washington, she completed a combined internal medicine and anesthesiology residency at Stanford followed by fellowship training in adult cardiothoracic at UCLA and perioperative echocardiography at the University of Utah. Her practice focuses on use of transesophageal and transthoracic echocardiography in point of care clinical decision making. Her practice emphasizes evidence-based care, informed care, and collaborative treatment. She is passionate about optimizing outcomes for patients undergoing cardiac surgical interventions. Dr. Ma believes in the healing power of the doctor-patient relationship and that all patients should feel seen and cared for as they go through some of their most difficult and vulnerable times. Outside of work, Dr. Ma enjoys hiking, huckleberry picking, kayaking, paddleboarding, winter sports, and spending time with family and friends.
