Colby Rozean, MD

Dr. Colby Rozean is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician. A Lubbock, Texas native, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University. Driven by his passion for medicine, he pursued further education at the University of Texas at Houston McGovern Medical School, where he achieved his Medical Doctorate. Dr. Rozean then undertook specialized training in Fort Worth through the John Peter Smith Family Medicine Residency Program where he served as Chief Resident. He takes great pleasure in providing both acute and preventative care to patients of all ages. In 2023, Dr. Rozean eagerly joins Covenant Medical Group, primarily practicing in Plainview, TX. Dr. Rozean enjoys developing personal relationships with patients which allows him to provide individualized care that best suits their needs. He is compassionate and empathetic and wants his patients feel heard and empowered. He is continually learning, involved in the community, and encourages a collaborative approach to ensure the best possible care. Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Rozean enjoys quality time with his wife, Dr. Georgia Mitchell. Originally from Tucumcari, New Mexico, she practices dentistry in Plainview. Together, they share a passion for their alma mater, Texas Tech, and enjoy outdoor activities in their spare time. Dr Rozean also enjoys reading, cooking, woodworking and home improvement projects. His father is also a family medicine physician, and his mother is a nurse.
