About Manfred P. Ritter

Manfred P. Ritter, M.D., received his medical degree from Ludwig-Maximilian-University of Munich, in Germany. He completed his internship and residency at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. He also completed a fellowship in esophageal/gastric surgery and colorectal surgery at the same school.

Dr. Ritter is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. His area of expertise is general surgery, including endoscopy; surgery for gall bladder, hernia, colon and rectal conditions; and advanced minimally invasive surgery of the entire gastrointestinal tract.

When not seeing patients, Dr. Ritter enjoys biking, hiking and exploring the beautiful countryside and beaches of Oregon together with his wife and daughter.
