About Michael J. Moses
Dr. Michael Moses is an orthopaedic surgeon and a hand and upper extremity specialist in Los Angeles. Dr. Moses completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital (formerly HJD), and his hand and upper extremity fellowship training at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Dr. Moses studied music composition and vocal performance as an undergraduate at Princeton University, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. Dr. Moses attended medical school at NYU School of Medicine, where he completed his MD program and was inducted in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Dr. Moses is active in multiple national societies representing orthopaedic surgeons. He serves as a Social Media Ambassador for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) and serves on the Diversity Board for the American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH). He is a board member of the California Orthopaedic Association (COA). Additionally, he has published over fifty peer-reviewed research papers, surgical technique videos, and book chapters, and has presented his research at national and international meetings. Dr. Moses has a commitment to excellence in hand and upper extremity surgery and is driven by a desire to provide the highest level of care and contribute to the well-being of those he has the privilege to serve. My entire experience from ER (at a Providence Hospital) through my specialty orthopedic care at OSS for a broken clavicle due to a horseback riding accident was handled in a timely fashion, with respect and expertise by all (receptions, nurses, AP, techs and my surgeon, Dr. Moses). I now enjoy excellent range of motion and would happily use all medical practices again and recommend to family and friends.
