Dr Valdez seems genuinely interested, thoughtful in his comments and not rushed. Other doctors affiliated with Providence have, at times, seemed rushed (eg Dr Savalia), so I didn't return to Providence regularly after my experience with her.

First visit with this doctor, my previous doctor left the practice.

Dr Valdez saw me for a bowel and gastric problem that I was having. My normal Dr is Dr Battey, but his schedule was very full. Dr Valdez had next date availability so I was very happy to get this appointment. I did see Dr Valdez about a year ago for a knee I blew out. Since I couldn't see Dr Battey, I was very happy to get an appointment with Dr Valdez. Our appointment was good.

I called my doctor with a non-urgent question but did not get a reply from him in a timely manner. I figured I would bring it up when I saw him next but eventually he replied. That meant something to me, knowing how tight his schedule is but he still remembered and thought to answer my question.

Was very happy with this provider and for the help, I wasn't feeling good. He also offered a care plan going forward, time frame for feeling better and if in 7 days I wasn't feeling much better to contact his office for a secondary treatment he had in mind. I appreciate his for thought if current treatment plan wasn't getting it done he had another Rx he would prescribe. Great visit other than me not feeling well, lol.

Dr Valdez is a great physician. It was my first time seeing him, and I had heard great things about him and he confirmed everything that was said. He spent a lot of time in the room with me and if I needed more time, he would've spent more time.
