About Alejandro Verdugo

Dr. Alejandro Verdugo is an orthopedic surgeon with 10+ years of experience. He started practicing in Lubbock, Texas in 2013. After earning his medical degree in 2002, Dr. Verdugo completed a four-year residency (2004-2008) in orthopedic surgery at the American British Cowdray Medical Center in Mexico City, Mexico. He was board certified by the Mexican College of Orthopedic Surgeons in 2008. He spent the next four years as a fellow, training alongside experts in pediatric orthopedic surgery, hip preservation, hand surgery, and sports medicine.

Dr. Verdugo is fluent in three languages. He enjoys reading biographies and books about science, medicine, and aviation, and he loves to travel and learn about different cultures. He also enjoys baseball, swimming, and snow skiing when he has free time.
