Robert A. Wilkens, PT, DPT

Robert was raised on a small farm in Rock Island County, Illinois. He graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois prior to attending University of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, Iowa for his Masters in Physical Therapy. He practiced physical therapy in Galena, Illinois at Taylor Physical Therapy and Fitness Center working for several years before moving to Alaska. In 2001, Robert and his family moved to Alaska for adventure and opportunities with Providence Medical Center Alaska. In 2005, Robert furthered his education earning Doctor of Physical Therapy from Des Moines University while working full time at Providence Rehabilitation Services. Robert is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner and an APTA certified clinical instructor. He has served as the lead ortho therapist at PRS since 2007.
