About Barbara Jacobs

Barbara grew up in a small town in Austria where her father is a family physician. She has been awarded scholarships for her academic excellence and research. Outside of medicine, Barbara enjoys running, hiking, traveling, developing photos in her own darkroom, and playing the piano (which she has enjoyed since age 7). In addition to being fluent in German and English, Barbara is conversant in French and Spanish. She is thrilled to be able to complete be a part of Providence Rheumatology.
