About Jennifer R. Steffan
I graduated from University of WA in 2011 with a bachelor’s of science and Seattle University in 2014 with my Masters. I started worked as an ARNP at UW Neurosurgery from 2014-2020. I recently moved to Spokane and I am excited to begin with Spokane Cardiology. I am certified by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. I enjoy most outdoor activities including hiking, backpacking and skiing. My husband and I enjoy taking our new puppy out on walks around the neighborhood.

She is very helpful; assessed my needs and helped me access prompt services, in this case heart catheterization (as soon as possible given the holidays). My concern more generally is that the Heart Institute is so busy that access to care sometimes takes too long, when the clinical picture is ambiguous enough to justify prompter services.

I was very pleased with this follow-up visit and the answers to questions I have about the procedure. The wait time was very long, but likely due to the holidays. I wasn't pleased with the receptionists discussing their personal "problems" as I was standing at the counter and waiting to check in.

She was patient and thorough. She listened to all I had to share with her in spite of it being a lengthy conversation. She praised me for the hard work I'm doing on my health and mental health. She encouraged me keep it up. She was very supportive of the whole picture of me even with medications being prescribed. I'm 56 years old and have had chronic health and chronic mental health since 2006. These past months I finally have the perfect medical/mental health team that all work together for my benefit. Because of this my quality of life is continually improving. I am forever grateful to each care team member. I appreciate you all!

Well it's like this if I wasn't happy with my Doctors and nurses I wouldn't be there. I would say I have great Doctors and I have several of them. Providence is the place to go if you have a problem, great heart Doctors, stroke Doctors, just all around great Doctors.
