Loch Chandler, N.D., L.Ac. is a naturopathic physician and licensed acupuncturist who has been with the Providence Cancer Institute's Integrative Medicine program since 2004. Currently, his specialty is in helping patients diagnosed with cancer minimize side effects of treatment and maximize quality of life as they are going through treatment. He also provides follow-up care to cancer patients with regards to issues around survivorship. Dr. Chandler also has a general medicine practice, where he sees people without cancer who may have back or neck pain, digestive issues, allergies, asthma, and other conditions they would like help and support with. Dr. Chandler has lectured around the United States on the topics of integrative medicine and cancer, and Chinese medicine and cancer. Dr. Chandler finished his Master of Public Administration degree with a focus in health administration (MPA:HA) at Portland State University in 2014. His goal with this degree was to help support the utilization of non-conventional therapies within the conventional health care system for the benefit of patients and their satisfaction, health care outcomes and cost savings. Dr. Chandler is the medical director of Providence's Integrative Medicine clinics. He enjoys using his knowledge of integrative medicine and his MPA:HA degree to help the integrative medicine program build connections and serve the Providence community.

When he is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids at their home in the country, helping coach one of his children's lacrosse teams, teaching at the local Naturopathic school and refereeing boy's youth and high school lacrosse and men's college lacrosse.
