Michael M. Marvi, MD, MS, is a board-certified neurologist. He obtained his fellowship training in movement disorders and his master’s degree in neurobiology at the University of Southern California. He also attended medical school at Sackler School of Medicine/Tel Aviv University and completed his medical internship and neurology residency at Kaiser-Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center. Additionally, he is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Neurology at the Los Angeles County – University of Southern California Medical Center.
Dr. Marvi practices general neurology and is a specialist in the diagnosis and treatment of Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, dystonia, and tic disorders. In addition to conventional medical therapeutics, he is also experienced in deep brain stimulation (DBS) programming and the administration of botulinum toxin injections for challenging movement disorders. Dr. Marvi is a Credentialed ImPACT Consultant (CIC) for the assessment, management, and clearance of athletes with sports related head injuries, and maintains a separate focus on the treatment of acute stroke using tele-health technologies for thrombolytic therapy.
