About Giulia M. Piano
Giulia Piano is a certified Physician Assistant with 2 years of experience. She received her B.S. from the University of Portland in Biology and Chemistry in 2016. She then went on to complete her Physician Assistant studies at Duke University in 2020. After working for one year in North Carolina in Hospitalist medicine, she is happy to have returned to her home town of Spokane to work in Hand & Plastic Surgery. I became a PA because I believe it is an honor to care for patients and walk with them in their healing journey. I am a passionate provider, and take pride in my ability to clearly communicate with patients, taking time to hear their concerns, values, and goals. The connection I have with my patients is why I love my job.

The visit couldn't have gone better. I was received with friendly, professional and informative regard; plus, I was given the option to pursue either the possibility of having a surgery, or trying rehabilitative measures for the future care of my damaged wrist. I don't usually feel so comfortable and welcome at other medical facilities as I felt at northwest orthopaedics so, even though the visit was to explore the prospect of maybe having to have a reconstructive surgery done, it was still a breath of fresh air to be given such courteous treatment at a time like that.
