About Erika L. Garbrecht

Dr. Erika L. Garbrecht is an Orthopedic Oncologist practicing in Spokane, Washington. She graduated medical school from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine with honors and completed her Orthopedic Surgery residency at the University of New Mexico. Following residency, she completed dual fellowship training in both Traumatology and Orthopedic Oncology at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital, with extensive training at Ryder Trauma Center. Dr. Garbrecht uses a multidisciplinary treatment approach and specializes in the treatment of both adult and pediatric benign and malignant bone and soft tissue tumors. She focuses on treating patients beyond the operating room, with the goal of helping patients navigate the emotional as well as physical obstacles following surgery. Additionally, she is a member of a local Sarcoma Tumor board where physicians collaborate in order to create customized treatment plans for complex cases. Dr. Garbrecht's team is dedicated to providing both local and regional care, and works closely with other physicians in different specialties including adult and pediatric medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, and radiology.
