About Alexander B. Dumdie
Alex Dumdie, PA-C, is a certified Physician Assistant specializing in vascular surgery at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, Washington. Originally from South Dakota, Alex brings a strong work ethic and a deep sense of community to his role, shaped by his upbringing in rural farming and ranching communities. He earned his undergraduate degree from Northern State University, followed by a Master’s in Kinesiology from the University of South Dakota. He later completed his Physician Assistant training at Rocky Mountain College in Montana, where he developed a strong foundation in surgical and cardiovascular care. At Kadlec, Alex works closely with vascular surgeons to diagnose and treat a wide range of vascular conditions. His clinical interests include peripheral artery disease, carotid artery disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA), dialysis access creation, and venous reflux. He is actively involved in both open and endovascular procedures and is known for his thorough, patient-focused approach to care. Outside of medicine, Alex enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and being with his dogs. He values the sense of connection and purpose that comes from serving a diverse patient population in the Pacific Northwest.
