About Leah M. Taylor
Leah has always wanted to work in women’s health. Her journey to being a Women’s Health Care Nurse Practitioner was slightly circuitous, but ensuring quality access to women’s health care at all stages has been a priority for her since she was a teenager. She loves doing gynecology care: she enjoys seeing patients move from being teenagers who are figuring out what birth control works best for them to patients who are going through perimenopause and menopause. Perimenopause and menopause care is something she especially enjoys helping patients with: menopause is a very natural stage for women, but symptoms don't have to be! Leah also holds a special love for older women, in part due to several years spent as a geriatrics RN. She wants to work with women and folks with vaginas to ensure they can optimize their own health in ways that are meaningful to them and that align with their lives. She is here to support patients with health education, quality care and good listening skills. In her free time, she is a pretty typical Portlander: she reads, hikes, and paddleboards. Mostly with her partner, and sometimes with her extended family. She also spends a lot of her time knitting and has knit much of her winter wardrobe, so if you see her in a sweater, it’s probably handknit!

Providence Patient
I saw this provider for the first time because the provider I usually see had an emergency and wasn't available. The nurse practitioner was kind, listened to everything I had to say and was gentle with my exam.

I have seen 2 or 3 other gynos since my regular one retired several years ago. She was amazing and I thought of her more of my overall health advocate to uan my regular doctor. I have been trying to find someone like her for years. Leah Taylor was recommended to me by a friend and I am pleased to say she is amazing and I am so excited to have found her. I have already recommended her. If I she had a Google account I would give her a 5 star review!
Providence Patient
A rare experience with Leah who took a great amount of time to gather information, ask questions, provide resources and information tht went above what I had originally made the appointment with. Very grateful for the attentiveness and care provided.
