Access to health care and health education is one of the most urgent issues facing the communities Covenant Health System serves. That's why each year we allocate 10 percent of our net bottom line to community outreach programs that improve health services for those who are underprivileged, uninsured or geographically isolated. View our annual Community Benefit Report.
Based on demographic health data from the communities we serve, we focus on the following programs.

Community Outreach Programs
Lubbock area residents can receive comprehensive dental care at reduced cost at our clinic. These services, including oral screenings and sealants, are available to all children who are eligible for Medicaid or CHIP, and adults and children who meet certain financial requirements.
Adult and child patients must financially qualify for services prior to obtaining an appointment. The cost of services will be based on the federal poverty guidelines.
Covenant Mobile Services Program consists of two dental vans serving Texas. Mobile dental vans provide dental services for the rural, adult and indigent population within a 100-mile radius of Lubbock. The units are staffed by licensed dentists and experienced dental assistants. Professional services include fillings, extractions and other basic dental procedures as well as a denture program. Clients must meet financial eligibility criteria.
Counseling services are available for individuals, partners, and families in a safe and encouraging environment. As a Christian ministry of Covenant Health system, we understand that to be healthy we must address all three areas of our lives: body mind and spirit.
Services are provided by licensed professional counselors.
Diabetes, heart disease and other chronic conditions are at epidemic proportions in our communities. We strive to reach and teach individuals and communities how to prevent or control chronic conditions. Healthy individuals promote healthy communities.
