Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center Visitation Guidelines
IMPORTANT NOTICE
On Sunday, Oct. 1, Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center will open the Friese Family Tower, our new state-of-the art patient facility. We will move patients from the existing tower to the new building throughout the day. During the move, we will suspend visitation to ensure a safe move for our patients and caregivers.
No visitors will be allowed until approximately 4 p.m. on Oct. 1 except for individuals visiting patients in Labor & Delivery, NICU, Pediatrics or patients who are receiving critical or palliative care or who have a pre-approved special circumstance prior to move day.
We will begin new visitation guidelines on Oct. 2 and look forward to our patients and visitors enjoying our new facility.
We are honored that you have entrusted us to care for your loved ones. Our primary goal is to ensure the safety of all who enter our environment.
The California Department of Public Health (CDPH) no longer requires patients, visitors, caregivers, and providers to wear a hospital-provided mask inside health care settings, unless visiting a Covid-19 positive or suspected patient or patients in isolation. All visitors must be free of fever and cold/flu-like symptoms.
In most cases patients are allowed two visitors at a time however excessive volume or special circumstances may cause restriction of visitors for periods of time. Special considerations will be evaluated, and nursing leaders reserve the right to limit the number of visitors and duration of visits to ensure patient safety.
Visitation hours are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on medical/surgical units and 24/7 in critical care.
Please note that this visitation policy is subject to change and may be adjusted at any time at the discretion of the hospital.
