I felt he really did not want to address my surgical need... he was gentle and very kind and explained his reasoning but I left with nothing but a belly belt that I can't use and no help for the hernia or any indication he would fix it later.

the receptionist could have been more friendly. they seem as if they don't want to be bothered. for my follow up appt after surgery my appt was scheduled for 1 with a check-in at 12:45. I get the and no one is there I waited 10 minutes and then walked in towards the offices and everyone was in a meeting. I completely understand the point of meeting. however I believe there should have been a sign on the reception desk starting that they were in a meeting or something and they would be out shortly or something to let patients know.

Receptionist was exceptionally kind and understanding and arranged with Dr. Steinle's nurse to have me seen the very next day, rather than a week, which had originally been scheduled for me. She sensed my emotional turmoil when I explained to her about having been put off for weeks regarding the start of chemotherapy [...]. This angel receptionist got up from her chair, walked around the desk and gave me the most needed and reassuring hug [...]. Such empathy and kindness is not encountered often in today's world and I very much appreciated that.
