Sarah E. Nelson, LAC

Sarah Nelson, LAc, is an Oregon Medical Board licensed acupuncturist who has been practicing acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in the greater Portland area since 2016. She is nationally certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and holds a Master of Science degree from the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, OR.

In her practice, Sarah has a clinical focus in women's health, autoimmune disease, chronic pain and adjunctive cancer care. To create a natural and effective treatment plan for each patient, she uses acupuncture, bodywork, nutrition and lifestyle counseling, herbal medicine, and nutritional supplements. Her treatment philosophy is one of collaboration with the patient and their medical care team. She believes in the body's natural ability to heal and find balance, when given the right support.
