As a board certified and fellowship-trained bariatric, gastroesophageal and general surgeon, Dr. Michael Russo specializes in minimally-invasive and robotic techniques to provide his patients with the best possible results. Dr. Russo earned his medical degree from the University Of Toledo College Of Medicine, and then completed a surgical internship, surgical research fellowship, and five-year general surgical residency at the University Of Nevada School Of Medicine, serving as chief resident in the final year. He continued his education with advanced training in Bariatric, Minimally Invasive, and robotic surgery in the prestigious fellowship program at Stanford Hospital & Clinics, where he was also a faculty surgeon.
