Jeffrey M. Tyler, MD

Dr. Jeffrey Tyler is a highly skilled cardiologist specializing in structural and interventional cardiology. He obtained his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine, followed by an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. He then pursued specialized training at the Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute in Los Angeles, where he completed fellowships in cardiology and structural & interventional cardiology, serving as Chief Cardiology Fellow. Dr. Tyler holds several board certifications, including Diplomate of Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Diplomate by the Board of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Diplomate of Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography and is registered physician in Vascular Interpretation. His clinical interests include coronary artery disease, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), heart failure, transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), transcatheter mitral valve repair with MitraClip, tricuspid valve repair and replacement, left atrial appendage occlusion using the Watchman device, and limb salvage. Dr. Tyler's research pursuits are centered on advancing techniques and outcomes in percutaneous mitral valve repair with MitraClip, TAVR, and the management of cardiogenic shock. He has disseminated his findings at conferences hosted by the American College of Cardiology and has published extensively in leading journals such as the Journals of the American College of Cardiology, European Heart Journal, and Catheterization and Cardiovascular Interventions.
