About Meer A. Fakhry
Dr. Meer Fakhry is a fellowship-trained electrophysiologist and cardiologist with expertise in atrial fibrillation ablation, ventricular tachycardia ablation, conduction system pacing, and leadless pacing. After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of California at Santa Barbara (UCSB), Dr. Fakhry attended Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he was selected for the Sigma Sigma Phi honor society. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Carolina/Prisma Health, serving as Chief Resident and receiving multiple awards for his teaching contributions to medical students and residents. Remaining in South Carolina, Dr. Fakhry went on to complete his General Cardiology fellowship, during which he developed a strong interest in managing the electrical disorders of the heart. He then completed advanced training in Clinical Electrophysiology at Banner-University Medical Center Phoenix, learning state-of-the-art ablation and device techniques under leading experts in atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, and robotics-assisted procedures.
Dr. Fakhry has authored numerous journal articles and presented his research at major cardiovascular conferences across the United States. His mission is to serve patients for years to come in Santa Rosa and the greater Northern California region, which he proudly calls home. Dr. Fakhry believes in working collaboratively with patients and their families to develop personalized care plans, utilizing the most current and advanced techniques to efficiently combat cardiovascular disease.
