About Matthew W. Barton
Matt is originally from Montana but graduated from Pacific University in Oregon with his Masters in Physician Assistant Studies. He has worked in general Cardiology for his entire career. He enjoys working with the heart, and is constantly learning to help further his knowledge and treat patients with the most up to date and evidence based medicine available. He is committed to playing an active role in helping his patients make choices to protect their heart and reduce their risk for cardiac events. He believes in having patient’s take an active role in their medical care, and that care should be patient centered.
