Kevin J. Woolf, MD

I see Dr. Woolf for cardiac care following two heart attacks I had in 2022. I see him 1 to 2 times per year and he monitors my heart medicines and orders tests to keep track of my heart condition. I trust Dr. Woolf absolutely and unconditionally. I feel very fortunate to have him as my cardiac physician.

Dr. Woolf was open and relatable. As a new patient I was impressed that he had actually read my records and had already made a plan to improve my health by questioning my medications and previous tests to determine their efficacy and need. I left feeling reassured and smiling.

I really appreciate that moment when he watched me quietly as I thought about a finding that had surprised me. I needed quiet time to think about it and I appreciated how Dr. Woof "held the space" and allowed that to happen. He was in every respect courteous, thoughtful, obviously competent and confident without being superior-- which was important because I trusted that. His kindness was calming.

The primary care provider is excellent, the cardiac care provider is satisfactory. All supporting personal are very good.

This visit was arranged by Providence, and I was not sure what the purpose would be. However, it seemed that the purpose was quality control. He was very professional, very serious and was confirming that my care was correct and that I was responding to treatment and was doing everything I could do to get as healthy as possible. He prescribed one additional medication which I am now taking, and cautioned me not to ease off my exercise when the rehab classes are finished. So, I now have a rowing machine and a stationary bike to supplement walking starting in 2 weeks when I "graduate". I'm glad Providence provides this type of appointment. I was starting to swerve off the "road" and this appointment pushed me back on track.

My eldest granddaughter went to this dr. And when my daughter needed to see a cardiologist I told her about Dr. Woolf and would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Wolf and the nurse was very respectful and listen carefully to my symptoms and concerns. Along with Dr. Wolf recommendation of monitoring my health with a heart device for the time being.

This provider is my heart doctor so I only see him once a year as I am doing very well. He is a excellent dr.

Dr.Wolfe is an amazing doctor because of the information he provided. He gave me the long picture of how my EKGs have been consistent. Moreover, he explains and educates in the process, my favorite approach. I am lucky to have him.

This was the first time I saw Dr. Woolf, a cardiologist. He was obviously very sharp, (and I say that in a good sense). I was referred to him for a heart valve problem. He was clear, concise and laid out a clear treatment path. I felt I was in good hands and am embarking on that plan.

I've only had good experiences at this clinic, with this doctor. He recognized early on that I had had a pulmonary embolism causing the cardiac arrest. If he hadn't suspected and corrected that, I likely would've had another arrest...

The visit has always been a good experience, it would be nice if I could get the echocardiogram on the same visit while I was in the same building and not have to wait until it was approved at a later date and reschedule for the echocardiogram.
