About Michael A. Wilson
Dr. Wilson is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in interventional cardiology. He has a special interest in interventional cardiology. He is the Medical Director for the Heart Attack Interventional Team and the Quality Director for the Providence Interventional Cardiology Program for Oregon. He also performs device implants (pacemakers and implantable monitors) and heart transplant biopsies.

Dr. Wilson is a very thoughtful provider. His awareness of all diagnostic tests and meds is refreshing. He clearly had reviewed my chart before our call. He always answers question completely and clearly and isn't bothered by "follow up" questions. My daughter-in-law is from Romania and he listens carefully to her and answers all her questions. She adores him because he doesn't make her feel bad about her accent or her questions. I find him very knowledgeable and easy to talk with, which makes him an excellent provider in my estimation. I would highly recommend him (and do) to anyone who needs interventional cardiology services. I also appreciated that I could do a virtual meeting as long as I was doing well. But, Dr. Wilson reminded me to be sure and call and come in if I had problems. I think he is great!
