My appointment with Dr. Liu felt rushed; she delivered a rehearsed script about acne which ate up the majority of the time even though I was there for a different, unrelated reason. There were many points where it was difficult to find an opportunity to speak without having to interrupt the script. But the most concerning issue was how condescendingly and dismissively she spoke to the nurse. It made me deeply uncomfortable to witness and for that reason alone I'll be switching derms in the future.
