Jessica Nicoud, RD, CDCES

Jess decided to become a registered dietitian to guide, support, and empower people to make healthy and impactful changes to better their health. She believes nutrition is more than food; it’s about creating connections with people and learning about their goals, culture, and preferences surrounding their food choices. Jess was born in Oregon and spent 8 years of her childhood in Idaho before moving back for college. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition Sciences from Oregon State University. Prior to pursuing her dietitian credentials, she worked in community health and nutrition at Central City Concern and served a term in AmeriCorps. After completing her Dietetic Internship at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), she worked for Gales Creek Camp to support the nutritional needs for children with Type 1 Diabetes. Jess has been with Providence since November, 2019 and is working towards her Diabetes Care and Education Specialist certification. She's enjoyed interning and now working for Providence as the organization encourages opportunities for growth for its caregivers. As a new dietitian in the field, she's been humbled by the support and dedication Providence teams show to patients.”
